SunnyLodge is a beautiful semi-detached house located on Devon Road in an elevated position overlooking the Estuary with a view to East Portlemouth through the woodland area opposite the property. This property offers spacious rooms for all of the family or friends as well as your pet, multiple outside areas for guests to lounge in the sun and parking for up to two cars on the driveway. Due to the position of the property it is within a 15 minute walk of Salcombe Town where you will find a range of independent food shops, independent bakeries, coffee shops and a few chain clothing stores. Salcombe is found at the Southern end of the Salcombe Estuary and boast some of the most amazing cliffs and beaches which form only part of the South West Coast Path. As mentioned, SunnyLodge overlooks East Portlemouth and from the main town you can catch a ferry to the other side and visit the beautiful beaches or book a session with Salcombe Paddle Boarding and paddle your way across the Estuary.
SunnyLodge, as you approach the property, the front door is up 16 steps from the driveway offering a higher position for the front terrace with views of the Estuary and over to East Portlemouth. Inside, the house has a running nautical theme throughout with comfortable and modern surroundings for the guests, a fantastic home from home. The ground floor features oak flooring and houses the cloakroom, open plan lounge and dining room which has sliding doors leading to the front terrace with outside seating for six people. The dining section then leads to the kitchen. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you could need for a big family meal, with a door that leads to the rear courtyard with bistro set. The stairs to the front of the house lead you to the first floor, the stairs, landing and bedrooms have carpet flooring which is there for additional comfort. The master bedroom is located at the front of the house with views overlooking the estuary and over to East Portlemouth through the woodland with a Super King size bed and has an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom, towards the rear of the property, has a king size bed with its own terrace with two sun loungers and a coffee table. Bedroom 3 is next to the master bedroom at the front of the house and has two singles bed and views of the Estuary.

Kitchen Grey style modern kitchen with white speckle marble granite worktops, Integrated Gas Oven, Four Ring Gas Hob, Integrated Dishwasher, Integrated Washing Machine, Fridge and Freezer. Krups Espresso Coffee Machine (Please bring your own coffee beans for the coffee machine), Kettle, Two-Slot Toaster, Sink with Mixer Taps. Kitchen leads to a Rear Courtyard with Bistro Set and a metal spiral staircase leading to the rear terrace.
Master Bedroom Super King (6') Bed, Two Bedside Tables and Lamps, Chest of Drawers, Built In Wardrobe, Wicker Chair, Views of the Estuary through the woodland area opposite the house. Ensuite Shower Cubicle with Electric Thermostatic Shower, W.C., Hand Basin, Heated Towel Rail with tiled flooring.
Bedroom 2 King (5') Bed, Two Bedside Tables and Lamps, Double Built In Wardrobe with Drawers inside, Dressing Table and Mirror, Wicker Chaise Longue. Leads to Rear Terrace with Two Sun Loungers and a Coffee Table.
Bedroom 3 Twin Room (3') Singles, Bedside Table and Lamp between the beds, Mirror, Build in Cupboard/Wardrobe, Views of the Estuary through the woodland area opposite the house.
Family Bathroom Bath with Overhead Thermostatic Shower, W.C., Hand Basin and Mirror, Heated Towel Rail and tiled flooring.
Outside Space Terrace located at the front of the house with Outside Seating for up to six people, views overlooking the Estuary through the woodland area opposite the house. Rear Courtyard is located next to the kitchen with Bistro Set. Rear Terrace access via Bedroom 2 with Two Sun Loungers and a Coffee Table.
Parking Parking for 2 vehicles is available on the shared driveway in front of the house. (Guests are to park in front of SunnyLodge and not the neighbouring property)
Changeover Day: Friday - Arrival: 3:00pm - Departure: 10:00am
Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250, which is payable to Blueriver Cottages with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
Pets Welcome: Maximum 1 Pet; £25 per Pet per week
Power and Heat: Gas and Electricity included in rent. Heated Towel Rails in the Ensuite and Family Bathroom.
Baby Equipment: Travel Cot, Stair Gates and Highchair available in the property. Other equipment is not provided. (Please bring your own bedding for the travel cot).

We enjoyed a great week in Sunnylodge. Big and spacious, the property is ideally situated high above the Salcombe Estuary, just 15 minutes walk from the lovely and picturesque town centre, and 15 mins walk from the nearest beach at North Sands (albeit up a steep hill). We would thoroughly recommend as a base for enjoying everything that Salcombe has to offer including shopping, food and drink (inc. the local gin distillery), water sports, walking, and for exploring the wonderful South Devon. Well appointed comfortable house with lovely terraces in a beautiful location. Lots of steps and set high above the town, which suited us as we enjoyed the walk in/out, trying many different routes. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Hauk - 28th June 2019
