The White House is a very bright, comfortable ‘home from home’ laid out over 2 floors, with two en-suite bedrooms upstairs, and fully equipped kitchen diner and a lounge downstairs. Guests can enjoy relaxing with in the private yard to the rear of the property, perfect for enjoying a summer barbecue. From the upstairs bedrooms one can enjoy tantalising views over the rooftops of Torquay, as well as far reaching sea peeps. The welcoming lounge is the perfect place to relax and unwind after a day of exploring the English Riviera, watching your favourite TV shows or snuggled up on the cosy corner sofa. The owners have welcomed guests for around 40 years, and this is truly felt from the moment you enter the property, so much that you won’t want to leave! The house offers everything you need for the perfect holiday – within just a stones’ throw you’ll find a wide variety of local shops, cafés and restaurants, all in a truly relaxing setting. And to top things off, guests have complimentary access to a shared heated outdoor swimming pool surrounded by exotic plants in the sub-tropical gardens.
Entrance: Three steps up to the entrance door that leads to a bright open plan kitchen and dining area.
Kitchen: electric hob, electric oven, microwave, fridge/freezer (70/30), dishwasher, washer dryer. The kitchen is equipped with all the necessary cutlery, crockery, glassware, pots and pans. The dining area has a table with 4 chairs and door leading to sitting room
Lounge: lounge is furnished with a comfortable corner sofa and an armchair along with glass coffee table, smart TV (46’’) with Freeview. This room benefits from distant sea-peeps from the picture window. There is another door leading to hallway with stairs up to the 1st floor.
Bedroom 1: The master bedroom has a king size bed, two bedside tables with lamps, chair, dressing table, a walk-in wardrobe and TV with Freeview. As well as the charming sea peeps, this room also enjoys far reaching views over the surrounding area. The adjoining en-suite bathroom benefits from a walk in shower, wash basin and WC.
Bedroom 2: This bedroom has two single beds that can be joined to form one King size bed by prior arrangement (zip&link), chest of drawers with reading lights, TV and a hanging rail. This en-suite bathroom again features a walk in shower cubicle, wash basin and WC.
Parking: 1 allocated space in the courtyard. Second parking space available by prior arrangement
Changeover Day: Friday
Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Discovery Holiday Homes with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
Power and Heat: Electricity and gas central heating, included in rent.
Bedding and Linen: Bed linen, towels and pool towels are provided. Please bring your own beach towels.

Please note: Swimming pool & sub-tropical garden area is shared with the attached B&B. Guests are welcome to share the garden year round and pool (seasonal from 10:30 am to 7:30 pm). Please bare in mind that some sharper plants in the garden may cause injury. As well as the outdoor pool there is a pond and, when the weather is wet, boardwalks and decking may be slippery, and guests use of these areas is at their own risk.
