This was our 2nd. Visit we love the location and the flat is very spacious and well equipped. Our only complaint is the ventilator in the bathroom is very loud and not very efficient.Neil Rundle, Germany - 1st January 2017

What an amazing holiday we had at the Balcony in Torquay! This apartment was luxurious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. It had everything we could wish for and it couldn't have been in a better position. One minute walk to the beach and the view from the balcony of the gorgeous gardens and pool below, stretching to the sea just beyond was such a treat. We are already talking about booking next year. Definitely one our best ever holidays!Jill and Steve Bennett, Nottingham - 1st July 2016

Beautiful Apartment, tastefully furnished with a very comfy king size bed. Kitchen had everything you would need. Lovely views overlooking the sea and we watched the big ships out on the horizon in an evening. Our biggest bonus was going most places by bus which stopped at the end of Hesketh Crescent and we used our freebie (OAP) bus passes for the very first time. Hope to return one day soon. Pleased to have a private parking space at the end of the road.Brenda & Mike, rugby - 1st July 2014
Fantastic views. Tastefully decorated and furnished apartment, also very clean and well equipped. Private parking space a bonus. Nice to have patio set on the balcony to enjoy your breakfast! A pleasure to return to after a day out and about. Would have no hesitation in returning for a peaceful holiday location!Mrs M Sharp, Lancashire - 1st July 2014

5* stars ~ Thank you for a lovely stay at The Balcony. Had a lovely stay at the Balcony apartment. The apartment was well equipped & nice and clean. Wonderful views over the sea.Samantha, Rowley Regis - 1st February 2014
5* stars ~ Our 9th year at The Balcony and as excellent as ever. Extremely comfortable and well appointed with everything you could wish for. A real "home from home"- definitely NOT a "holiday let". Oh- and the views across the bay- far better than the TV. Even in January we lunched four times on the balcony in the Hesketh Crescent micro-climate. We'll be back next year. Thanks to the owners and the cleaners- superb!Bob & Jenny, Woking - 1st January 2014
5* ~ Spent two weeks in The Balcony and the apartment was just what we had hoped for. Actually, it was beyond expectations: extremely clean, spacious, luxurious, beautifully decorated, a comfortable bed and shower and just all the facilities one could need were there. The terrace might even be the biggest asset: we enjoyed it every day to enjoy our breakfast, lunch or late afternoon wine. The service was excellent as well. Sue and Richard: your attention to detail and personal touch was much appreciated, thank you again for that. Everything was just perfect. Hope to be back soon! South Devon has a lot to offer and we had too little time to do all the sightseeing and try all the nice restaurants in the area. Good tip: if you are planning to do a lot of sightseeing, bring your own convertible car or hire one at the airport, you won't regret it. Can recommend Discovery Holiday Homes as well as The Balcony apartment to anyone. Many thanks and best regards from rainy Rotterdam.Sylvia & Paul, Rotterdam,The Netherlands - 1st May 2013

A wonderful family holiday made even more special by a 'Class A' apartment. We have stayed in some swanky places and this is clearly a well thought out space. We love the whole retro feel, yet none of the mod-cons have been compromised. Absolutely loved it and will be back again. Tennis before breakfast each morning is a must!Nya, Diya, Jayne & Dan, North Hertfordshire - 1st May 2011
