The sunny flag stoned terrace just outside the front door, with outdoor table & chairs; enjoys sun pretty much all day and enjoys a pleasant leafy view across Torquay towards the Lincombes and the distant coastline toward Brixham.
Walking through the front door and into the living area is cosy & inviting with a large corner "lived-in" leather sofa, a telly, DVD player and a vintage suitcase underneath brimming with a selection of favourite movies & box sets. We absolutely loved this place, booked very last minute, we were a little apprehensive it wouldn't live up to expectations, but it absolutely did, and more ! The kitchen was better equipped than our kitchen at home !! And everything, down to dishwasher tablets, washing liquid and tea & coffee was provided. A good selection of DVD's, games & books were all provided. And a very useful selection of information on local attractions was provided. The lighting was perfect for setting the perfect evening ambience, and the squishy sofa was super comfy!! The beds were really comfy, and having 2 bathrooms was a treat too! We'd recommend this accomodation, and if we are ever brave enough to face the M5 again then we'd certainly not hesitate to stop here!Lisa - 11th August 2017
A great property, lovely setting in a leafy residential area, about 15 mins walk from the harbour (up a steep hill on the return, but great for getting the heart rate up!) with lots of restaurants in a walking distance The property is clearly a holiday let, but has the feeling of a home Well stocked kitchen, with thought added for holiday makers; waterproofs, wellies and umbrellas on hand! Prossecco and snacks were a welcome arrival. A great base in which to explore Torbay and south Devon. Would recommend this property. My only warning would be the building works adjacent to the building starting each morning meant no lazy mornings, or taking advantage of the patio for a spot of sunbathing during the day.
