We had a great stay. The cottage was very comfortable with so many loos (5)! The bedrooms are lovely as is the kitchen and sitting room. Slightly surprised there wasn't a dishwasher but you need a drainer for the sink- we had to buy one. A microwave would be handy too.Sarah, Putney - 1st August 2016

A lovely house in a beautiful village. Everything is as it is described, with good basic supplies. I'd highly recommend this location and house. Shaldon itself is also great, and the large table in the house was perfect for doing jigsaws!Sarah B, UK - 1st September 2015
The house is an excellent size for up to 6 people, with a very useful extra downstairs living area, and plenty of bathrooms. The location is good, short walk to the sea front and the village. It is generally well equipped, although it would benefit from a bigger/extra fridge and a double oven / microwave. The landlords are hard to get hold off, but once you do quite helpful. Overall I would recommend this property and the area of Shaldon.A previous customer - 1st July 2015
A good property in a great location. The village of Shaldon has all you want for a holiday and all of South Devon is within an easy drive. The cottage itself needs a little bit of work doing to it both inside and out.David Rose from Miskin - 1st July 2015
Our stay at Palm Cottage was a truly enjoyable experience. We used the house as a base to meet up and entertain friends and family while on holiday. The kitchen and house is equipped with all mod cons and has great entertaining space. The house has everything to make you feel at home on holiday, be it toys for children or boardgames to play on quiet evenings in.We enjoyed our stay and will likely return next year. There is a small parking space to the rear but ample for a medium sized car. The garden is nicely set out, with a apple tree in full blossom while we were there. We had a small problem when arriving, however this was put right by the owner within hours. We appreciated the period features of this Georgian house, and would recommend Shaldon Palm Cottage.Jonathon, Cornwall - 1st May 2015
Cottage lovely, reminded us of upstairs, downstairs! Grandchildren loved the wii games when we were not out and about at skate, water and play park and crabbing. Cottage could do with a microwave although we are are a family that cooks conventually. Also a wardrobe is needed in one of the double bedrooms and the shower is a bit archaic with a floor grid and curtain around it also paper bins are needed in rooms. However we would love to come againS.hinchliffe, suffolk but am a Devonian - 1st August 2014
Cottage a lovely, practical house for a family holiday, grandchildren loved the wii games in between visiting Teignmouth skate park, water and play park and also accessing it by ferry! Cottage could have done with a microwave although we are a family who like to cook conventualy. Also a wardrobe is needed in the second floor double bedroom and the shower is a bit archaic over a grid and a curtain around it. Waste paper bins needed in rooms too. However we would love to come againsally hinchliffe, suffolk but was born in Devon - 1st August 2014
5* Stars ~ Beautiful cottage in a beautiful village. Location is great and all essentials are within walking distance. Only slight grumble is that we had to make the beds up when we arrived. Not something you want to do at the end of a long journey.Birch Family, Gloucester - 1st March 2014
