Absolutely stunning place, some times in life you know you've experienced something special and this is one of them ! I've stayed in many classic manor houses and holiday sweets all over the place and this tops the list for its mature but capable size that leaves you with a comfy and home like feel! Would recommend this to anyone!!!Connor solle, Glastonbury - 1st February 2017
Thank you for a lovely stay, we've really enjoyed ourselves. It's a great little hut, so warm and cosy. We had a little sun and enjoyed the terrace!Amy and Marie - London - 1st February 2017
We have just spent an amazing few days at beach hut 5. I've always loved Shaldon and dreamt of staying in one of the huts. This was booked as a surprise birthday getaway by my boyfriend, turned into a bigger surprise when I left with a fiance! Couldn't have imagined a more perfect setting to make perfect memories. The hut is beautiful and has everything you need to relax and rewind from normal life. Facilities are great and finishing touches of milk and biscuits on arrival meant the relaxing starts straight away!I would love to return in the future, perhaps a honeymoon!Natalie and Matt, Stoke on Trent - 1st February 2017

We stayed in Beach Hut 5 to celebrate following our wedding on 5th September. Our wedding was by the sea in Mudeford, Dorset so wanted to continue the theme and this seemed the perfect setting. We could not fault the Beach Hut, Shaldon or Teignmouth. We would highly recommend The London Inn, Cafe ODE and The Colosseum. We would also suggest Shaldon Wildlife Park and The Ness Beach. It was a great place to chat about our wedding!Gemma & Mike - 1st September 2015

Loved our stay. Beach Hut No.5 was just perfect. Ate out at the London Inn, great food and ale. The sun shone as weekend so enjoyed the terrace, especially eating fish and chips from Finn Mccools in Teignmouth (Local chippy not open on a Sunday) out there watching the world go by.Love to come again.Peter and Lisa, Worcestershire - 1st July 2015
We were looking for something different for our holidays this summer and beach hut 5 delivered in spades! Would have have no hesitation in recommending the accommodation to others.Pete Clarkson from Ringwood - 1st June 2015
Compact and bijou, brilliantly designed, contains everything we needed for a perfect romantic break. The sea views are stunning, and the hut is situated a stones throw from the beach, so early morning walks along the sea shore to watch the sun rise was a must. The cafe next door does a fab breakfast and the London Inn pub has a impressive menu. We live in Devon but discovered places in and around Shadon we have never been to before. We both had a truely lovely stay, were both very impressed with Beach Hut 5 and look forward to returning.Hilary and Gareth, Devon - 1st February 2015

The beach hut was perfect for a short stay. It had everything you needed and a very comfy bed. It was great to sit outside and look at the lights of Teignmouth reflected in the water and enjoy the near deserted beach. Look forward to staying in the beach hut again.W. Cuthbert, Nottingham - 1st July 2014
This was a fantastic get away! There was everything you could possibly need for a short stay including picnic containers!! Although the beach hut is obviously pretty small it feels so roomy and airy. The outside patio area is a fabulous area for enjoying the sea breeze and views. Would love to visit again. The beautiful village of Shaldon is a lovely place with lots of hidden treasures.Pete and Lucy Bridge, Hampshire - 1st June 2014
Fantastic accomodation in a wonderful setting. The Beach Hut was exactly as described with great facilities and perfect for a short beach holiday. Shaldon is a beautiful, quiet seaside village with all the amenities and services we need (great pubs) with Teignmouth just minutes away by sea or road. We will definitely be booking up again. Thanks.Jarrod from Coventry - 1st June 2014
We are a couple in our sixties and wanted to try something different! The hut was fitted out so well for such a compact space. The shower room was modern and clean! The bed was very comfortable and quite fun getting on to it! It would be a one of stay for us but we can see it being a great stay for the 'young and agile. Would totally recommend it.Jenny from Torquay - 1st June 2014
Good fun, slept really well.Greg from Swindon - 1st May 2014
5*stars ~ We stayed in beach hut 5 Monday-Friday in April and we had such an enjoyable stay! As soon as we arrived we were so excited to see the inside of the beach hut. Once we went inside it was such a cosy and lovely hut and the view out of the back doors onto the beach was lovely to wake up to every morning. The local area was such a pleasant and friendly place, and if you wanted to travel to a few other towns it's just a short drive. We really enjoyed our stay here and we're planning on booking to go back again. We would definitely recommend booking to stay in the beach huts as they are such a lovely pale to getaway to and relax.Helen & George, Cheltenham - 1st April 2014
5* stars ~ We loved every minute of it- Definitely 5 * star luxury- great position on the beach front- We will be back. Jacquie & Dean, Telford - 1st March 2014
Myself and my wife would like to say how much we enjoyed our stay at the beach hut (which was on her 30th birthday). We were so impressed with the quality of the place, how everything had been cleverly designed and it's overall uniqueness. I've been singing it's praises to friends and family and all being well we'll be coming back again later in the year with some other friends. It was lovely at this time of the year and I can imagine it will be super lovely in the summer when the bi-fold doors can be fully opened. Thanks once again.Christopher & Sailormuu, Loughborough - 1st February 2014
5* Fabulous 2 night stay for our anniversary break. Small but perfectly formed, with mod cons and good quality appliances / fixtures / fittings, etc. Fabulous location, loved Shaldon and will definitely return but in the 2 bed as our son wants to stay in a beach hut!Rachel & Chris, Bridgend - 1st September 2013
Beach huts were amazing, quirky, cool and beautiful views. Day and night, Shaldon has lots to offer. Didn't want to leave :(Graeme & Jo from Hamspire - 1st August 2013
5* ~ A little gem! What a treat to wake up, fling open the doors and breakfast on the beach, watching the village wake up and start going about its business. The hut was small but perfectly formed, with everything we needed for our stay. The space has been thoughtfully designed with all mod cons and was a fun place to be. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends, not only the beach huts but Shaldon generally. What a wonderful find!Katy & Chris from London - 1st August 2013
The description of a 'hut' does it an injustice as each one is like a cottage that's been shrunk to half size. Ours had a beautiful kitchen with granite surfaces and all the mod cons. Everything is super compact- the bathroom houses a full size shower, toilet and sink with a lovely oak sliding door, which does all you'd need it to without ever feeling cramped. The lounge is double height with a lovely electric Skylight controlled by a remote and the mezzanie above the lounge is very cozy. Whilst you can't stand up in bed there's a double bed and the most amazing view in the morning over the river Teign and the beach. The lounge has a nice sofa bed and the glass door at the end that folds away the full width of the lounge onto a cute little beach front garden. The lounge even has a flat screen TV if you get board of the view. These have only just been built and they even smell new and are perfect for a small family or couple for a long weekend. Just a quick note to say a big THANK YOU for renting out the beautiful beach hut to my husband & I last weekend. We really enjoyed our stay & were the envy of our friends who stayed at Babbacombe Hall. We all hope to book up & stay again, hiring 2 beach huts possibly later this year depending on your availability. Once again many thanks for allowing us to stay in a truly unique property.Shana & Martin, Surrey - 1st August 2012
The village was totally beautiful and loved the clipper cafe next door. The beach hut was booked mainly for my daughter who enjoyed the experience. The beach hut is very sweet and a very unusual experience ~ I would recommend it.Zoe, Staffordshire - 1st August 2012
