Shaldon was a relatively quite coastal resort with lovely properties and plenty to do in the local vicinity. Property was a lovely house, spacious and very well placed for Ness Cove and Shaldon itself - the steep drive was not as bad as previous guests had indicated (our ages 11-70). Ferry to Teignmouth was great and Teignmouth was a really well kept resort with plenty of lovely restaurants. Highlights of our week - Dinner at Fresco, Teignmouth; afternoon tea at Ode café, Shaldon; Devon Sea Safari boat trip from Teignmouth; Coasteering with Rock Solid and beautiful walks on and around DartmoorMrs Pauline Grainger - 30th August 2019
It was perfect home from home of a fantastic standard.Mrs Mary Mowat - 4th July 2019

Ness Dene was very well presented had everything we needed for a holiday with extended family and 2 children. It had lots of space for everyone. Mrs Elizabeth Laughlin - 29th August 2018
Ness Dene house is a truly beautiful place. The house is tasteful, spacious and beautifully decorated throughout. The kitchen dining area is very well appointed with modern equipment and all that you need to cook and dine in comfort. All bathrooms have great showers and effective towel rails. The family absolutely loved this house. The only downside is the steep drive and limited parking making it difficult to load/unload and access not easy for elderly members of the party.....apart from this it was brilliant and Shaldon, itself, is a very attractive village and well worth a visit.Tony K - 10th September 2017
Beautiful house! Superb decor. We have had a lovely week - despite full on west country weather :( Our 89 year old mum made it up the hill several times - so proud of her.Keech's, Lugtons & Cipsons - 2nd September 2017
We loved loved loved our stay at Ness Dene. The house is absolutely stunning - with beautiful decor and a real luxury beach house style feel. The setting is equally fantastic, with breathtaking views across the water. Really liked the fact that the cafe, pub and beach were right on our doorstep too. Made everything so easy. The private road was just that - private and the hill up to the house gave us some much needed exercise after all the ice cream we had at the beach!! Really cannot recommend this house enough. Can't wait to go back.Lynsey - 30th August 2017
Amazing home and lovely decor. Lovely view from the pub, specially at night. Killed us walking back up the hill, even Milo (the pug) had to be carried the last couple days. Celebrating Milo's 2nd Birthday here too! Martin family - 19th August 2017

Wow! What a great house, the facilities and finish of the property interior are second to none; I struggled to remove by family at the end of the week! We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we stepped through the door, when we noticed the dog treats and dog towels which both came in very handy! Milk and Orange Juice in the fridge were again a lovely touch. We had a fantastic week and felt very lucky to be the first holiday letters, the kitchen diner is an amazing room and the facilities are amacing. The bedrooms are a great size and very comfortable. We wouldn't hesitate to visit again and recomend to anyone wanting to stay in total luxury, who want to do a lot of walking in this beautiful part of the world!Toby and family, Swindon - 1st February 2017
