You will find a large range cooker, fridge freezer, built in dishwasher, microwave and even a coffee maker.
From the kitchen there are folding cafe style doors which open the breakfast area out to enclosed "suntrap" patio with table and chairs for alfresco dining or a lazy morning coffee. There also is a separate access to this area from the road which makes it ideal for safe storage of bikes / beach and water gear / mobility scooters e.t.c. (power supply available for charging electric scooters etc.)
There is a ground floor bedroom with daybed, storage and an en-suite shower room, basin and WC; for those who want privacy or may not wish to use the stairs.To the left you can find a living / dining room with a work area. The natural wood floors, feature cast iron fireplace, with wooden surround and mantle and multi fuel burner with timber beam over, create cosy atmosphere. There is functional and comfortable furniture for your dining, relaxing or working.
You can find two bedrooms on this floor – a spacious bedroom with super king size bed and a twin bedroom, with two single zip and link beds, which can transform into a super king size bed.Further ahead you will find a laundry area with washing machine and separate tumble dryer. There also is an additional cloakroom with WC and washbasin.

Shaldon is a beautiful former fishing village which nestles quietly on the south bank of the River Teign Estuary. In this place you’ll find charm of Georgian architecture mixed with thatched cottages, narrow streets, plenty of shops and traditional village green.
The village has fine restaurants, excellent cafés, coffee and gourmet shops, all within easy walking distance. Fine local wines may be found which are produced by a nearby vineyard. For younger generation there is a zoo and children's play park close by. There is a dog friendly Ness beach which is accessed by a smugglers tunnel. Plenty of options for active holidays - water sports, sailing, rowing, coastal walks, Shaldon cliffs, pitch and putt course. The oldest Regatta in England is the Shaldon Regatta held every August and runs for nine days.

Very comfortable in an excellent location. Totally satisfied. Perfect for a child friendly holiday. Looking to book again for next year. Excellent in all respects. Small touches such as a small supply of essentials (Tea sugar coffee etc) really gave it that little bit extra.
