Guests are perfectly placed for making the most of their self-catering stay; with the delightful amenities of Shaldon village just a short, flat walk away. For families, dog walkers and runners, the picturesque riverside location also leads in no time to the King George's playing field.
In the picturesque village centre, foodie fans will find a famous Delicatessen, a wonderful bakery, a local butcher's, a selection of grocery shops, 5 welcoming pubs and selection of cafés, bistros and gorgeous restaurants to whet the appetite.
Pretty Shaldon also offers sailing opportunities and a fabulous coastal beach. Ness Beach is also a popular haunt here, whilst its wooded cliff top above boasts beautiful views across to Teignmouth and the mouth of the River Teign.
Shaldon visitors can also admire the wonders of conservation first hand at the Shaldon Wildlife Centre, whilst the Homeyard's Botanical Gardens promise a great day out for nature lovers and born-romantics. The village also offers a small passenger ferry service to Teignmouth. This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £250, which is payable to Discovery Holiday Homes with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.
