We have one UK house rental holiday every Summer for the last ten years. Castle Cottage was the very nicest house we have stayed in to date. I would highly recommend Castle Cottage and I could be described as quite a demanding renter! Everything was perfect, no faults. To any potential holiday renter, choose this cottage, you won't be disappointed. Ron Sobell, Amersham, Bucks - 1st August 2016
Once again we had a lovely week at Castle cottage! The views are stunning and the cottage has everything you need for a relaxing break.Mr and Mrs Hagan , DE61EH - 1st June 2016
The cottage is very well equipped with wonderful southerly views of the sea and coast from all rooms. We had very good weather so we really saw it at its best. The location is a pleasant 15 minutes walk from Kingswear and you will need a torch if its dark. This may not suit everyone but we loved it.Martyn Carlisle from Duffield - 1st October 2015
A stunning location and more than we could have hoped for for a wonderful few days away at new year. House is very spacious and very well furnished, just the job for 6 of us. Easy to get to stunning walks on the coast of just chill out in front of the real fire. Bit of an up and down walk into dartmouth (20 mins). Car is a must to get there. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful or good walking holiday and would certainly go back again.simon, bristol - 1st January 2015
We had such a lovely time at Castle Cottage. We didn't know the area well, but we loved it. The cottage was perfect, and the walking, the views, the water and Dartmouth (great fish and chips) and the train (boys toys) great fun! We do hope we can come back again, such wonderful charm.Sandra and Family - 1st October 2014
Castle Cottage is a beautifully furnished house in a stunning location, how often can you find a house with sea views from EVERY room in the house? If you appreciate lovely views, smart contemporary decor and a quiet location then this is the place for you.Colin MacDonald, Stourbridge - 1st September 2014
Wonderful doesn't even come close to describing the totally divine experience we had during our week at Castle Cottage. Thank you so much for making our first visit to South Devon so memorable and for our prompt refund of our security deposit.Mimi and John from Washington - 1st June 2014
Lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Very well equipped and finished. Absolutely fantastic. Access down a long, and very narrow, private road takes a little while but well worth it.Jane from Market Drayton - 1st May 2014
Stunning house, stunning location. We loved our stay and castle cottage exceeded all our expectations, absoloutley superb! Wanted to bring the cottage home either us. If the owners wish to convert another cottage they are more than welcome to do ours!David from Aylesbury - 1st May 2014
We spent a week at Eastern this year in this charming cottage and enjoyed every minute. We were very welcomed with fresh flowers. The cottage is beautiful. It’s decorated very tastefully and it’s very clean. The master-bedroom has a big size and the bed is very comfortable with a lovely seaview through the french door. Also all the other rooms are with a wonderful seaview to the Dart. The kitchen is fully-equipped. The living room is lovely, with sofas, tv and a collection of new magazins. There is also a sunny terrace and a private garden. The cottage is in sunlight all the day. There are a lot of helpful information about the surroundings and the objects of interest in the area, also timetables and maps. The cottage is at the end of a private street, so it is very quiet. It is situated only 20 minutes walk from Kingswear harbour. It is directly at the south-west-coastpath, and you can make beautiful walks, starting from the cottage, for example to Coleton Fisharcre or Greenway House. With the ferry you can go to Dartmouth and with the steam railway to Paignton. We would like to come back to Castle cottage – hopefully next year.Andrea from Germany - 1st April 2014
We stayed in castle cottage three years ago and were extremely happy to see that it had returned to holiday rental. We absolutely loved it there the first time and we were not disappointed this time. We will definitely book it again in the future. Trish & family from Somerset - 1st August 2013
