The Nest Newcomen is a lovely refurbished first floor apartment located in Dartmouth Town Centre. This property overlooks Newcomen Road and Lower Street in Dartmouth and is within less than a minutes walk on the flat road to the River Dart. Whether you are looking for a couples getaway, an ideal base for the family with everything they could want in walking distance or somewhere to relax where the apartment, cafes, shops etc. are pet friendly, this apartment is the place for you. The Nest Newcomen is accessed via the doorway from the Newcomen Roadside, walk up the steps and you'll find the first floor with the cloakroom and open plan living, kitchen and dining area. The dining table is strategically placed by the window overlooking Newcomen Road and Lower Street, the perfect place for your morning coffee and watch the world go by. The living area is well furnished with a large corner sofa, large footstool and a freestanding armchair, plenty of room for the whole family. There is also a wall mounted TV if you fancy a night in after a full day of adventure. The second floor houses the master bedroom, family bathroom and the twin room. Both bedrooms benefit from River Glimpses and ample storage to hide your suitcases until it's time to go home. 

The Nest Newcomen is conveniently located in the centre of the main town, less than a minutes walk to the nearest Food Shop, there is a coffee shop about ten paces away from the front door and is less than a five minutes walk from the River Ferries. You don't need to drive the car anywhere if you didn't want to! The Beaches such as Blackpool Sands and Slapton Sands are all on a main bus route with easy access, if you wanted to drive Blackpool sands is about a 10 minute drive away and Slapton sands is about 15 Minutes away from the apartment. Making it the perfect base for your holiday.

Parking  Annual season ticket for Mayors Avenue Car Park (unreserved). Please note: during Regatta week/s the Town Car Park is closed but the parking permit is valid in the Park & Ride on the outskirts of the town.

Changeover Day: Friday Arrival: 4pm (16:00) - Departure: 10am (10:00)

Security Deposit: This property has a refundable Accidental Damage Deposit of £200, which is payable to Discovery Holiday Homes with the final balance of your holiday, eight weeks prior to your arrival, and is refunded within 5 working days of your departure. Alternatively, you may wish to pay a non-refundable Accidental Damage Deposit Waiver equivalent to 10% of the Accidental Damage Deposit value, which covers you for the full value of the Accidental Damage Deposit, should any damage occur during your stay.

Pets Welcome: Maximum of 1 Pet Accepted. £25 Per Pet Per Week

Power and Heat: Gas and Electricity included in rent.  

Bedding and Linen: Bed linen and towels are provided (Please bring your own beach towels).
