Just returned from a fantastic weekend away at Hutchinghayes Barn. An idyllic location where you feel away from it all but still within easy reach of places to visit and things to do.The barn itself is fantastic and very comfortably sleeps four adults. It is set in beautiful grounds with two lakes, a boathouse and even a pet pig! The grounds are perfect to go for a stroll in or just sit on one of the many benches and take in the view.Liz was the perfect host, always on hand but never intrusive, she had some great recommendations for places to eat nearby which we would never have found without her assistance.I would recommend this location as the perfect break away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life... you wont be disappointed.Gerry Turner, Kent - 1st November 2016

We had a lovely long weekend at Hutchinghayes for a family birthday. The barn was beautifully decorated and well equipped, also having an excellent view over the lake on the stunning grounds. Sadly the weather left a bit to be desired but the barn was so cosy that we were happy to wait it out indoors next to the fire. The barn is well situated for exploring the Devon/Dorset border and we hope to visit again in the future ~ just wonderful; not even the rain could dampen our stay!Genevra and Robert from London and Malvern - 1st February 2016
