Beautiful comfortable home - Roy and Jayne were exceptically friendly and helpful. Purser Family - 18th December 2020
Herons Haunt was the perfect house for our family holiday, enabling us to spend some quality time together as a family, make some lovely memories and generally get away from it all. The facilities in the house are of a very high standard and hi-spec and the accommodation is very comfortable and versatile. The garden is south facing and we had an amazing BBQ evening sitting on the patio, looking out over the wonderful valley views. The stairgates, high chair and cot were a great help for our young grandson. The location is stunning although I did find the walk to the pub somewhat strenuous as there are some steep hills in Rattery but the younger fitter ones coped fine and even went out for some runs. The local pub ‘Church House Inn’ is great and we had a wonderful meal there. The location is great and within reasonable driving distance to Dartmoor and to the south Devon coast. Dartington and Totnes are both great for shopping too. Roy & Jayne were very friendly and extremely helpful. I would thoroughly recommend Herons Haunt. - 6th August 2020
