The Brixham Heritage Sailing Regatta has its roots in the Sailing Trawler races that have been held inTorbaysince the early 1800’s.

Torbay Classic Powerboat Race
The Torbay Classic Powerboat Race in conjunction with the Puma Imperial Hotel will take place in Torquay on 25th and 26th May. Meet the teams and view the raceboats from Friday 24th May on Haldon Pier. First race is Saturday 25th May at3.00pm. Sunday racing starts at12.30pm.

A large flotilla of sailing and motor craft will be forming a sail past in the Bay to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the Torbay Royal Regatta and the 150th anniversary of the Royal Torbay Yacht Club. Good vantage points around Haldon Pier and Beacon Quay.

Berry Head Fun Day – Napoleonic Boot Camp and Friends of Berry Head Fundraiser
A special day for the whole family to celebrate the incredible heritage of Berry Head National Nature Reserve. Step back in time to when Napoleonic soldiers marched the headland and join BrixhamHeritageMuseumon a Napoleonic Boot Camp. Take part in bushcraft activities with the rangers, help the Friends of Berry Head cover a giant guillemot with coins and enjoy a BBQ and live music at the Guardhouse Cafe from noon.
