Located in the Orchard grounds of a fine Regency house, The Stable cottage provides sumptuous holiday accommodation for your stay in Devon.

Just 3 miles from the medieval visitor town of Totnes and just 1 mile from the famous River Dart, the cottage provides the ideal convenience of having peaceful rural surroundings and close proximity to the vibrant towns and attractions.

The cottage boasts a generously proportioned open plan living and dining room which retains the beautiful oak beamed ceiling, with its charm further enhanced by the romantic wood burning stove for lovely cosy evenings in.

Guests can happily unwind here on the comfortable sofa with a glass of wine and the modern day comforts of a flat screen TV, DVD player and Wi-Fi access to hand. The adjoining conservatory overlooks the well-manicured grounds and provides the ideal sheltered sunny spot in which to enjoy a good book.

A fully equipped modern kitchen provides all the desired appliances for an enjoyable self-catering stay with a gas hob and oven, microwave, toaster, refrigerator and dishwasher all provided. The dining area provides a pleasant place for relaxed meals and the outside alfresco dining area provides the ideal alternative during the warm summer months, with charming views across the mature lawned orchard and picnic table.

Upstairs in the cottage guests can fully unwind in the fabulous bedroom suites which both offer comfort and exude a sense of calm. The master bedroom features a double bed with wall mounted TV, wardrobes & dressing table with views overlooking the orchard. The second bedroom has twin beds, wardrobes, dressing table and TV. A couple staying in this room may have the beds joined to form a double if required also. The brand new bathroom is fitted with a bath with shower overhead, a sink, toilet and sky-light.

For maximum flexibility and upon request, up to 6 guests may be accommodated in this cottage, by opening a third double twin bedroom up from the cottage next door. The third bedroom with en-suite can then be reached through one of the existing Daffodil Cottage bedrooms.

From the cottage in the hamlet of Aish, the beautiful River Dart and village of Stoke Gabriel can easily be reached in 1 mile. The medieval town of Totnes is a charming place to explore and is easily accessible from Aish, just 3 miles away.

For animal lovers Paignton Zoo and the Livings Coast attractions are all within easy reach.
The popular resort town of Dartmouth provides the ideal excuse for a bit of retail therapy with a wide selection of high street shops, boutique shops and a host of restaurants and popular highlights to enjoy.

For literary fans the famous former home of Crime writer Agatha Christie, known as Greenway House, is now in the hands of the National Trust and can easily be visited as the house and its gardens are just a short ferry trip away from Dittisham which is a 15 minute drive away from the cottage.
