It is a lovingly and beautifully restored Victorian sweet shop that is a few minutes stroll from shops and restaurants.

Candy Cane Cottage has been recently renovated to offer a light, bright holiday home with both a contemporary and yet traditional feel.

It has two double bedrooms and a twin room in the converted attic.

The ground floor has a comfortable sitting room with a wood burning stove. A light and airy dining room with a table and seating for up to 6 people.. This leads into the newly refurbished large gallery kitchen with oven, hob, fridge, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine.

The bathroom is to the rear with bath basin, WC and separate shower.

In House Facilities ~ Central heating, TV, DVD player, CD player, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven, hob, fridge/freezer.

Guests please note that the steps inside this property are steep (due to the age of the property) and hence this cottage may not be suitable for young children or those who finds stairs challenging.

The beautiful Whitstable Playhouse still put on a variety of plays and other performances throughout the year, which is perfect for after dinner entertainment. If music and live bands are more your scene then you will not be disappointed as most of Whitstable’s local pubs and bars regularly host live music events such as The Old Neptune, The Duke of Cumberland and The East Kent.
